Q X LOOP v2.0
The
Quantum QX Loop v2.0 is a 7.5" ferrite rod antenna that covers
530-1800
kHz. It features a double-balanced JFET/JFET amp, a tilting
loophead, and Q-multiplication. The Quantum QX Loop v2.0 replaces
the original QX Loop and QX Pro Loop and also accepts loopheads for the LW
and Tropical SW bands. It has an external antenna connector so that
the loop's circuitry can be used as a preselector.

Q X LOOP v2.0 Plus+
The
Quantum QX Loop v2.0 Plus+ is identical to the Quantum QX Loop v2.0 with
the exception that its amplifier is of the JFET/MOSFET design and the
Q-spoiling control is continuously variable (as opposed to having a
3-position switch). The JFET/MOSFET amp provides increased gain (but
with a slightly elevated noise floor) compared to the v2.0 model.
The Q-spoiling control permits finer Q adjustment for use with a phaser or
to prevent overloading if the loop is used as a preselector.

PHASER
The
Quantum Phaser is a broad-band phasing unit that combines the signals from
two antennas to create a steerable null. It is optimized for use in
the 530-2000 kHz frequency range. When used with a Quantum Loop and
an external antenna, a cardioid receiving pattern can be achieved.
Ergonomically designed, it also functions as an antenna switch.

STICK PLUS+
Known
as the Q-Stick+, this unamplified antenna booster is designed for use with
portable radios. By placing it in close proximity to the radio, a
boost in signal is obtained. It can also be used to optimally couple
the signal from an external antenna to a portable radio's front-end
circuitry. The Q-Stick+ covers both LW (150-530 kHz) and MW
(530-2000 kHz).

COUPLER
The
Quantum Coupler is designed to optimally transfer the signal from one of
the Quantum Loops to the ferrite rod of a portable radio (thereby
bypassing the filtering circuitry usually present in the external antenna
circuits of portables). The result is generally a much greater
signal level.

PACK
This
is an external battery pack that holds 8 D-cells to provide 12VDC for
powering any of the Quantum Loops or Quantum Phaser. It comes with
two removable patch cords that are fitted with 2.5mm phone plugs to power

The
Accessory Pack includes one 12V AC/DC adapter fitted with the 2.5mm plug
required to power either the Quantum Loops or Phaser. The Pack also

standard UHF jack on a receiver.
